As we’ve touched on in the previous video, a backlink analyzer is a tool used to aid in your SEO efforts. Since it’s a tool, naturally, there are several kinds and examples of it. So, in this video, we’ll be talking about some of the most common examples of backlink analyzers that professionals use.

01:52 What is Majestic SEO, and How Can it Help With Analyzing Backlinks?
Let’s start with Moz. Moz is a tool that provides you with a lot of information about your backlinks and helps you determine if they’re good or bad. Additionally, Moz gives you access to Open Site Explorer. This is a tool from Moz that lets you see what anchors, keywords, and phrases your competitors are using in their anchor text links. It also lets you see how many linking domains are pointing toward each page of their site.
Another great example is SEMrush. SEMrush has been around for quite some time now and their platform is pretty unique in that it lets you see how well specific pages rank in Google for certain keywords. They’ll also give you data on your competitors’ backlinks which can be helpful when you’re trying to improve your own website.
The third example is Ahrefs. Ahrefs is a backlink analyzer that allows you to track your website’s performance, see where your competitors are getting their links from and how much those links are helping them. The tool can give you a detailed analysis of the backlinks that any domain has. It will also help you find out which keywords people are using when they search for your industry, as well as what keywords your competitors are ranking for. It can also show you the top pages on any given site and tell which pages have the most amount of links pointing to them.
The last example we’ll discuss is Majestic SEO. Majestic SEO is a backlink analyzer that identifies and quantifies the strength of your website’s backlinks. It’s used by more than one million webmasters, bloggers, and SEO agencies around the world to help them improve their search rankings and increase organic traffic. It works by identifying which sites are linking to your competitors, then finding out which of those links are the most powerful. It then tells you how many links each of your competitors has so that you can decide whether or not it’s worth it for you to try and compete with them.
Once you understand how a backlink analyzer works, it’ll be easier for you to manage your link building efforts.
