Before anything else, take a look at all of your pages and make sure that they’re linking up correctly. You should be able to click on any link and it will take you where you want to go, or at least somewhere related to what it’s supposed to be leading you to. If there’s anything that seems off or broken, double check it!
Next, make sure that if someone wants information from your site but can’t find it because of a broken link, they can contact you about it so that you can fix it for them. This is really important because if someone has trouble with something on your site, they might decide not to come back, or worse, maybe they’ll leave bad reviews or tell their friends about how much trouble they had getting around on your site!
When it comes to fixing broken links on your site, make sure that you’ve got a link checker available. This will allow you to check all the links on your site and see if any of them are broken. You can find these online or in the apps section of your phone’s app store. They’re really easy to use!
Following that, make sure that you’ve got an error page set up for when a user clicks one of those broken links. You don’t want them to get frustrated or confused when they click something and nothing happens! A good way to make sure this doesn’t happen is to have some sort of “404” page set up on your server. These are usually pretty easy to set up. Just log into your cPanel and look for it under “Document Root.”
Finally, don’t forget that Google loves SEO-friendly websites with original content! If you’re using WordPress, there’s a plugin called Yoast SEO that’ll help you optimize all these things for better rankings in search engines.
