What is A Good Domain Authority Score?
Scores between 40 and 50 are considered average. 50 to 60 is good. Scores above 60 is excellent.

Large sites have higher domain authority because of the quality of their content, the number of backlinks they’ve earned, and the number of its audience.

How Does Domain Authority Affect A Website?
Domain Authority is a ranking system used by Google to determine how authoritative a website is. It’s based on various factors, including the age and popularity of your site as well as how many other websites link to yours.
In other words, higher domain authority scores typically correlate with higher search engine rankings, so you can see how domain authority can impact SEO results.
For example, a website with a DA score of 62 will likely have its website pages ranking higher than a website with a DA of 35.
How does LinkDaddy DA Checker work?
We calculate DA by the relevance of the website on the internet, rather than its internal pages.
It is best described as follows:
- The process begins by finding all domains that have one or more followed links to the target domain.
- Look up how many other domains each linking domain links to.
- Then pass some amount of “DA juice” from each linking domain to the target domain. That amount is determined (roughly) by dividing the DA of the linking domain by the number of unique domains that it links to.
